Eat more salads
It is summer and very hot in many parts of the country. When it comes to eating, many people may prefer to eat foods that are light and less greasy. This may be due to the extreme heat that people must deal with in their towns. Also, many people may prefer eating items that refresh and help them feel cooler. I know that I like to lighter foods that help me feel cooler and more hydrated in the summer heat. I love to eat all kinds of vegetables. I like to them in a salad with lettuce. There are different types of lettuce. I like Iceberg and Romaine lettuce. They are two of my favorite kinds of lettuce. Sometimes I like salads without any lettuce. I can eat only the vegetables mixed together. I like to mix cucumbers, salad tomatoes, onions, green bell peppers and other vegetable that may be handy. Next, I may add a little salad dressing. My favorite salad dressings are: Ranch, Italian, and Caesar. When I eat more salads, I am getting water as well as vitamins and minerals that are good for me. Sometimes I like to make salad with pasta. I like to add vegetables to pasta to add variety to the salads. After eating salads, I feel better equipped for beating the summer heat.
