Yoga, Pilates, Flexibility, and Ab Workout

It seems that a lot of people want to get into great physical shape. It seems that they are no longer content in just doing only aerobic exercises. They want to get a more complete workout of their bodies and mind. Some people have used Yoga to help them with their fitness. Other have used Pilates in their workouts.  Sometimes Yoga and Pilates  are combined as an ab workout and to improve  flexibility. Yoga has helped many people to relax and become more flexible. Yoga has helped people to relax through meditation. This may help a Yoga practitioner  become more patient with the stresses of daily life. Pilates has helped practitioners to strengthen their core body. Also, it has helped them to improve their posture. Through Pilates, practitioners have gained stronger bodies with the development of lean muscle mass. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core muscles by controlling breathing while performing specific movements. Both  Pilates and Yoga have been performed upon floor mats, but the effectiveness of Pilates is improved with the use of a reformer machine. The reformer helps to add intensity to the Pilates workouts. The intensity helps the practitioner to have more control over the Pilates exercises. Women may appreciate Pilates because they do not develop muscles that are bulky with  Pilates exercises. I think that Yoga and Pilates can be very beneficial in the fitness health of the body.
