Usually, when I think about what I need I start to realize some solutions to some things that I thought were my biggest problems. This makes me realize that some things are not as big a deal as they seem. Thanks to meditation, I have realized many things can be solved by stepping back and distancing yourself from your problems. Sometimes I begin to laugh during my meditations because I see humor in many of my so called problems. The more I meditate the happier I feel. I have quick meditations when I feel that I do not want to take a lot of time to meditate. These can last about 15 to 30 minutes a day. Also, I have longer meditations which can last for many hours. These are not my normal meditations. The long meditations are used only when I have a great deal of anxiety or I am depressed. Normally, quick meditations help me stay relaxed. I can do the quick meditations many times during the day or night. For me, meditation is not good just for prayer. It is good for daily life as well to help with relaxation.

Normally, the over counter medicines will provide relief for me. The pollen from plants irritates my sinuses and make it hard to breathe through my nose. I prefer to take decongestants since my head feels dry and stuffy. This can cause me to feel some anxiety. Therefore, I must calm down and relax. There is plenty of music to listen to, but not all of the music is calming enough to relax your mind. There are songs that contain lyrics by famous vocalists and musicians. These are fine to listen to and sing along with. However, these songs may stimulate you and cause arousal. Some of the songs may make you sad and make you feel more depressed. When I am trying to relax, I do not wish to be stimulated or made to feel depressed. I prefer to relax my mind with relaxation music. Generally, the best kind of relaxation music is the kind that uses mostly instruments or instrumental music. Some types of relaxation music add the sounds of nature to the music. This is good for calming the nerves. Plus, it may help someone relax while meditating. In my opinion, music without someone singing is less distracting and more relaxing. It seems that they are no longer content in just doing only aerobic exercises. They want to get a more complete workout of their bodies and mind. Some people have used Yoga to help them with their fitness. Other have used Pilates in their workouts. Sometimes Yoga and Pilates are combined as an ab workout and to improve flexibility. Yoga has helped many people to relax and become more flexible. Yoga has helped people to relax through meditation. This may help a Yoga practitioner become more patient with the stresses of daily life. Pilates has helped practitioners to strengthen their core body. Also, it has helped them to improve their posture. Through Pilates, practitioners have gained stronger bodies with the development of lean muscle mass. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core muscles by controlling breathing while performing specific movements. Both Pilates and Yoga have been performed upon floor mats, but the effectiveness of Pilates is improved with the use of a reformer machine. The reformer helps to add intensity to the Pilates workouts. The intensity helps the practitioner to have more control over the Pilates exercises. Women may appreciate Pilates because they do not develop muscles that are bulky with Pilates exercises. Reading a book can not only help you to relax, but reading can give you a chance to exercise your mind and imagination. In addition, to hardcover and paperback books we can benefit by reading ebooks as well. I like to unwind by looking through my favorite magazines. Soon, I hope to subscribe to some of my favorite magazines as ezines. This will help me to cut down on some of my magazine clutter. If you do not take the time to appreciate yourself then who else will? Women are working harder than ever to take care of themselves and their families. Often they receive very little if any appreciation for the hardships that they have to endure. Rewards help women feel satisfied and relaxed. These rewards can include mini vacations to a day spa, shopping trips, fine dining, and may other kinds of rewards. In my opinion, it is alright for a woman to reward herself. Because if she stands or sits around waiting for a man to do this, she may go unrewarded. As a woman you deserve to have treats and rewards for yourself. Additionally, you may demand that the man in your life give you a reward. Especially, if you do it nicely. Explain to him how you would appreciate this reward.
